A former Marlborough Boys' College student will be among the star attractions when the "King of the Ring" is decided in Auckland on Friday night.

The 75kg eliminator series, involving eight highly-ranked super middleweight kickboxers, attracts a vast television audience worldwide and is recognised as the biggest kickboxing event in New Zealand.
