EIGHT FIGHTERS ONLY ONE WILL BE KING

/ THE SUPER middleWEIGHTS
The Super Middleweight King in the Ring delivered another unforgettable night of elite kickboxing, with eight of New Zealand's toughest strikers battling through the gruelling elimination tournament where only one would claim the crown.
After a series of explosive contests, it was Ashton Harris from Pukekohe, Auckland who rose above the field, winning three fights in a single night to earn the title of King in the Ring Super Middleweight Champion for 2026.
Congratulations to Ashton and the entire Matariki Kickboxing team on an outstanding achievement, and thank you to every fighter, coach, official, sponsor and fan who helped make the event another incredible chapter in King in the Ring history.
With the Super Middleweights now decided, attention turns to the next tournament as the Welterweights take centre stage on 28 November, where eight new contenders will begin their quest for the throne.
