Coronavirus: King in the Ring forced to fight another day

New Zealand's biggest combat sports event, King in the Ring, has postponed Friday's show due to the impact of the coronavirus.

The latest edition of the eight-man kickboxing series was due to take place at Eventfinda Stadium on Auckland's North Shore.

Organisers had already decided to reduce the crowd size in order to continue with the event following the Government's restrictions on gatherings of more than 500 people.

But given the rapidly-changing nature of the situation, they have ultimately opted to postpone the super middleweight tournament to a later date.  READ MORE >>>>
